Bullet to the Head Trailer
After a successful opening weekend in the US, Stallone, the driving force behind Expendables 2, cannot be said to be resting on his laurels. The latest trailer from next years Bullet to the head see’s Sly in typical action man form as Jimmy Bobo (yeah not the best name) a hitman who forms an alliance with a NYC cop to take down the people responsible for his partners death, cue explosions, numerous jokes about Sly being old and of course the obligatory daughter kidnapping, it worked for Neeson right? Hit the jump for the trailer.
The film is based on a French graphic novel titled Du plomb dans la tete which was written by Alexis Nolent, a comic for which the author won a best story prize from the Prix Saint-Michel awards ( a series of comic awards focused upon Franco-Belgian works) back in 2004. Having been originally intended for release this April the film was pushed back to its current release date of February 23 2013.
Although the trailer looks fairly standard in terms of the action and jokes, it does look to have a pretty interesting story which could really shine as long as it isn’t smothered by all the terrible jokes.
