Deadpool Game In Development
High Moon Studios, creators of the fantastic Transformers: War for Cybertron and the yet to be released sequel Fall of Cybertron have today been reported as teaming up with Activision Studios to create a Deadpool game. The official website can be found here where you can see the trailer, follow the games Twitter account and of course pre-order. A pretty funny poster was also on show earlier today in San Diego which you can see below.
Nolan North of Uncharted fame (and also voice of Deadpool in MArvel Vs. Capcom 3) is on voice over duties which seems to work most of the time. He does however remind me of Duke Nukem sometimes which is BAD, so I’m not entirely convinced by the choice despite the admittedly funny dialogue (Suck it Wolverine!).
In terms of tone the humour is definitely present and correct though graphically it’s a little bit meh, especially the helicopter at 1.12 which looks very dated. This is of course probably alpha footage so am drawing no conclusions just yet, there’s not even any hint of a release window so will have to wait and see.
