Paramount pictures are continuing to ramp up the marketing buzz for Sacha Baron Cohen’s latest work The Dictator, with the release of a new NSFW trailer (below) as well as an appearance by Admiral General Aladeen on Saturday Night Live with Martin Scorsese (also below).
The trailer is a slightly expanded version of the clips we have been seeing over the last few weeks with a few extra gags and swears thrown in to keep us interested, though I for one don’t require any more convincing to go see the film at this point. The SNL skit on the other hand is a pretty nice stand alone short showcasing Aladeen as a delightfully demented sociopath with Scorsese doing a pretty good job too. I doubt very much that we have seen the best of The Dictator in the trailers and fully expect Cohen to up the ante yet again come May 16th.
